I was born in Cornwall and have always lived here.  I love the sea and the coastline and enjoy being outdoors in my free time.  Swimming and cycling are also my favourite hobbies.  I absolutely LOVE reading and particularly children's books. Chatting to people of all ages and enjoying a laugh together brightens up every single day.  I am lucky to be able to do this in my role as a teacher and Assistant Headteacher.

I'm Rebecca McHale. I have been teaching for over 20 years and I have been a SENDCO for over 12 years. I have a passion for supporting pupils with SEND and for supporting our families.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my 2 year old daughter - we love beaches, farms, shops, tractors, trains and swimming! I also enjoy music festivals and crochet!

I'm Susanna and have worked at St Martin's for many years now! When I'm not at work my favourite thing to do is go for long walks with our dog, especially across the moors, which is also his favourite place!

I'm Gemma and I've worked in the school office for over 8 years. I enjoy spending my spare time with my family and friends and I love being by the sea, whether it's walking along the beautiful Cornish coastline, paddleboarding or building sandcastles with my two children. When I'm not in school this is my happy place!

I work across both St Martin's and Braddock schools. I love my job and feel privileged to be working with such lovely children, who are often very brave in trusting me with their, at times, difficult and tricky feelings.

To relax I love spending time with my children and grandchildren, walking my dog, preferably when it's not raining and reading...lots!

I'm Stacey and I am the Indoor Nursery Leader and have been part of the St Martin’s family for many years. I am a trained level 3 preschool practitioner and have lots of experience in working with young children. I lead the indoor nursery sessions every day.

I'm Mrs Lorna Cleave.  I have two children, a 7 year old girl and 6 year old boy.  They keep me busy, I love spending my time with them.  My hobbies are keeping fit, walking my dog and seeing my friends.  My passion in life is making sure people around me are happy!

I'm Julie and I started working in St Martin's Nursery in June 2024. I love working with young children, it's very rewarding watching them become more independent with their learning.

My name is Miss Craze. I have been a teacher at St Martin's since September 2023, but I am very familiar with the school as I was a pupil here myself. I have lived in Liskeard my whole life and I am very connected to the local community. Before I became a teacher I helped to run a holiday club in which we did lots of exciting activities such as kayaking and arts and crafts. I am a creative person who enjoys drawing and reading. I am also very passionate about teaching children who grew up in a similar area to me.

Hi, I'm Mrs Seymour and I've worked with children for 18 years from babies to secondary school. I love Early Years and have now worked in EYFS at St Martin's for 5 years. 

My favourite children's book is the Gruffalo and my favourite food is cheesy pasta. 

Fun fact: I've met King Charles.

Hello, my name is Mrs Stoneman and I am an Early Years Teaching Assistant. In my spare time I enjoy watching my children participate in various sporting activities. I also love going on long walks exploring our beautiful countryside with my dog. I really enjoy my role as Teaching Assistant. It is an honour to share my love of learning with the children and create special memories together.

Hello, I am Miss Jarvis and am the proud owner of two cats, Merlin and Ivan! 

My favourite subjects are Science and Music, especially where I get to be practical and do investigations! I love teaching children to be creative thinkers and independent learners!

My favourite book is 'The Last Bear' by Hannah Gold. It is an inspirational book!

Hi I am Mrs Judson. I am a HLTA and currently work in Years 3 and 4. In the afternoons I teach other classes around the school. 

In my spare time I really enjoy watching cooking shows and trying different recipes. I also have a German Shepherd and he likes to go on long walks. I really enjoy listening to music and reading.

I’m originally from Kent, studied at Plymouth University between 2007-2011 and never moved back!

 I’m a local mum, with three children. In my spare time I enjoy walking on the moors with my springer spaniel called Chester and spending time with my family at the seaside. 

I feel very lucky to spend my working days at school helping the children to learn and develop.

I’ve worked for St Martin’s School for quite a few years mostly in upper key stage 2 but have worked in lower key stage 2 and Year 1. I cover lunchtimes as well and am the treasurer for our PTA.

If I have any spare time I love to walk my dog, read and watch a good film!

I'm Tanya Cliffe and have worked at St Martin's School for a number of years. I currently work as an H.L.T.A. (Higher Level Teaching Assistant). In the mornings I support the children in Yr6, Pathfinders class, and in the afternoons I teach different classes whilst the teachers have their PPA time.

In my spare time I enjoy walking, both by the coast and in the countryside. The beach is my happy place.
